What's New in LMC 8.3 R4 FE
R4 FE base release
- Focusing: metric distance display, metric minimum/maximum focus distances, a meter-based manual focus scale and faster, more accurate autofocus.
- Zoom: reworked zoom logic, a zoom info line, per-lens starting zoom and a double-tap zoom factor in LMC Tweaks.
- Noise models: trimmed to 18, with an adaptive coefficient and an option to disable digital ISO gain.
- LUTs: 55 LUTs installed on first opening of settings, with 0–100% intensity.
- Libpatcher: section switches, Stray Light Fix, Tonal Contrast and tone-curve options.
- Automatic lens ID detection and Sabre MTK for MediaTek devices.
R4 FE Fix
- Fixed autofocus when tapping repeatedly, and faster manual focus slider.
- Fixed pinch-zoom value display.
- Restored the full noise model list and the parametric tone curve.
- LUT intensity slider moved to the viewfinder; GPU LUT backend choice (OpenGL ES or Vulkan).
- Removed the flash delay and some Google Services checks.

Create a LMC8.3 folder in the root of internal storage. The official LMC 8.3 config list includes phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A71, S9+, S10+ (Exynos) and S20 FE; Xiaomi Redmi 9, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Note 8, Note 11 and Note 12; Poco F6, F6 Pro, M6 Pro and X5 Pro; Motorola Moto G20, G34 and G85; OnePlus Nord CE 3 and Ace 3 Pro; Realme 12 Pro+; Oppo Find X6 Pro; vivo X100 Ultra; and Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2).
