LMC 8.8 is the LMC camera series that came after LMC 8.4. Release 2, published in January 2025, added LUT and watermark support, a reworked libpatcher menu and many fixes. It needs its own configs.

LMC 8.8 Release 2 was published on 6 January 2025. Its default package is com.camera.lmc88r2, and it also comes as Scan3D, Aweme, Meitu, Snapcam and Google Lens packages. Configs go in the /LMC8.8/ folder. The developer warns that configs from older LMC versions are not suitable for 8.8.

LMC 8.8 Configs

The developer's release notes say: do not use configs from previous versions, because most keys are not suitable and the camera will not work correctly.

Create a folder named LMC8.8 in the root of internal storage. The official LMC 8.8 config collection includes the Asus Zenfone 9, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus Nord N30, Realme GT5 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 13T, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Poco F2 Pro, Poco X7 Pro, Redmi Note 13 4G and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G. Other phones need manual setup.

The release notes also say you do not need to re-tweak developer settings, because everything is now shown in the normal settings.

LMC 8.8 has a more modern menu, LUTs and watermarks, while LMC 8.4 R18 has many more ready-made configs and runs on Android 10. How to Install LMC 8.8

  1. Download the LMC 8.8 Release 2 package.
