Redmi Phones With MediaTek Chips
Some Redmi models (for example many Redmi A, C and some Note 13 4G variants) use MediaTek processors. On these phones LMC 8.4 may work only with HDR+ (not Enhanced), and some lenses may be missing. Try these steps:
- Use a config made for your exact model, not a sister model with a Snapdragon chip.
- Lower the HDR+ frame count if photos have pink or green tints or the app crashes.
- Try LMC 8.3 R4 FE, which added a Sabre MTK option for MediaTek devices.

Best Settings for Redmi Phones
- HDR+ Enhanced for landscapes and food; HDR+ for people.
- Night Sight for indoor and street shots at night.
- If skin looks too red, choose another AWB model or a different config for your model.

Missing Wide or Macro Lens?
Most Xiaomi phones allow all lenses, but a few block them. Install the Snapcam package of R18 next to the default one. If the macro lens is still missing, your model may not expose it to third-party apps.
